Tour Plan
Day 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (100 KM/3 Hours)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, our cab will pick you up & you’ll start the journey towards Shillong. On arrival in Shillong, check into the Hotel. After rest & freshen up visit market nearby. Have dinner & overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02: EXCURSION TRIP TO CHERRAPUNJI
In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Cherrapunji (56 Km), the wettest place on the earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves & Orange honey. Watch the Dain-Thlen falls, Noh-Kalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls & also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park and the Living root bridge. Return to Shillong. En-route, we will spend time at the Shillong Peak. Have overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
Day 03: SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today, we will leave to enjoy local sightseeing tour of Shillong, ‘Scotland of the East’. We will be visiting Cathedral Church, Lady Hydari Park, the Orchidarium, Elephant Falls, the Golf course. Thereafter, we will drive to the shilling peak to enjoy a splendid view of Shillong. In evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK (230 KM/5-6 Hours)
Post breakfast, we will proceed towards the Kaziranga National Park, the homeland of the Great India one horned Rhinoceros. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today, early in the morning enjoy the jeep ride at Kaziranga National Park. Later, return back to the hotel for breakfast. Spend some time in the leisure in hotel. Thereafter, we will again proceed for a Jeep Safari through the National Park. The evening is free at leisure. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel. The actual attraction of Kaziranga National Park is broad diversity of wildlife beauty. The chief riches trove of Kaziranga is vast one horned Rhinoceros, but it is also a house to other species of flora & Fauna for instance elephants, wild Asiatic water buffalos, swamp deer, hog deer, gaur, samber, Indian Mautjac & many more. Kaziranga is also famous as a significant Bird watching point.
Day 06: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – BHALUKPONG (90 KM/2-3 Hours)
After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Bhalukpong. It is a small town nestled in the foothills of Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is home to virgin forests, bubbling brooks and gurgling Kameng River, the place, besides providing for a soul-soothing retreat to all the distressed souls, also makes as an excellent adventure tourist destination offering a scope for plethora of outdoor activities like hiking, trekking, fishing, angling, camping and river rafting. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: BHALUKPONG – TAWANG (180 KM/6 Hours)
After breakfast, we will proceed for local sightseeing in Bhalukpong. Thereafter, we will drive to Tawang. On arrival, check into the hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: TAWANG
Post breakfast, we will proceed for local sightseeing in Twang. We will be visiting Tawang Monastery, which is around 400 years old, and is the 6th birth place of Dalai Lama Galden Namgyel Lhatse. The Tawang Gompa is definitely the high point of the town with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Also, we will visit the War Memorial. The evening is free at leisure for shopping. Later return to hotel for stay.
Day 09: TAWANG – DIRANG (140 Km/6 hours)
In the morning, drive to Dirang. On arrival, check into the hotel & visit National Research Centre on Yak. Later return to hotel for stay.
Day 10: DIRANG
Today you will explore the beautiful Dirang Valley as you visit the hot water spring, apple & Kiwi Gardens, the Sangti Valley & Kalchakra Gompa. In the evening, visit the Zimthung view Point & Dirang Dzong, which is a tribal area & is on the shores of Dirang River. Later return to hotel for stay.
Day 11: DIRANG – NAMERI NATIONAL PARK (170 KM/6 Hours)
In the morning, we will drive to Nameri Eco Camp. Afterwards visit Agnigarh, around 40 KM from Nameri National Park is a great picnic spot. Later return to hotel for stay.
Day 12: NAMERI NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI (215 Km/5 Hours)
After breakfast, we will visit the Nameri National Park. Later, we will drive to Guwahati. On arrival, check into the hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing covering Srimanta Shnakardev Kalakshetra, state Museum and to Emporiums for ethnic local products, Maa Kamakhya Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Sukleshwar Temple & Balaji Temple. In evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your return journey.
