Tour Plan

Day 1: Chandigarh – Shimla sightseeing – Kufri – Narkanda

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station, our cab will pick you up & start the journey towards Narkanda. On the way visit Kufri (It is one the best ski point in winters and in summers, it turns into a famous tourist picnic spot). On arrival at Narkanda, check into the hotel & visit market area. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Narkanda – Kotgarh – Rampur – Sarahan (100km/2-3hrs)

After breakfast leave for Sarahan via kotgarh – The Valley of Apples. On reaching in Rampur visit the exquisite palace of erstwhile Maharajah of Rampur Bushair, explore the town and then leave for the beautiful village of sarahan, perched High above the river Sutlej, sarahan is steeped in legend, hill architecture and the remarkable natural beauty, orchards and small villages. Stay overnight at Sarahan.

Day 3: Sarahan – Sangla – Chhitkul – Sangla (130km/5-6hrs)

After breakfast visit to Bhimakali Temple, it is revered as one of the fifty one Shaktipeeth. After visitng Holy Temple, start your journey towards Sangla Valley which is located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is supposed to be one of the most beautiful valleys in the country. In Tibetan, the term Sangala means “Pass of Light” which refers to the valley receiving plenty of sunlight during the day. late evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4: Sangla – Kalpa – Nako (230km/6-7hrs)

Morning after breakfast proceeds for Nako & visit Kalpa on the way. Nako Lake, this is one of Kinnaur`s most picturesque hamlets, Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village build around a small lake and has an important Buddhist Gompa and a small temples, A footprint like impression on a rock is ascribed to the saint Guru Padmasambhava. Stay overnight at Nako for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5: Nako – Tabo – Dhankar – Tabo (125km/4-5hrs)

Today morning you can tour the village around and can also head on towards Tabo Monastery constructed in 996 AD; – Not just in Spiti but in the whole of the Tibetan Buddhist world it has very wonderful Chogs – Khor [‘Doctrinal Circle’ or ‘Doctrinal Enclave’]. This complex holds 9 Temples, 23 Chortens, a Monk’s Chamber & Nun’s Chamber. The monastery contains large number of Scriptures & Pieces of Art, Wall Painting & Stucco. After reaching Tabo check in at the hotel, post lunch you can visit the famous Dhankar Monastery, the traditional Capital of Spiti sits prettily on a hilltop. Today, more than 160 Lamas reside here. A Statue of Dhyan Buddha where four complete figures of Buddha sit back to back is the main attraction of this more than 7TH Century old Monastery. On the way back you can visit the pin valley the only cold desert in Himachal pradesh. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Tabo – Pin Valley / Mud (65km/2-3hrs) – Kaza

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Mud and visit Pin Valley. Pin Valley National Park adjoins the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) on one side and the Rupi Bhabha Sanctuary on the other. Stay overnight in a small village named Mud, which is also the starting point of the Pin Valley Trek.

Day 7: Kaza Sightseeing

After breakfast start your journey towards kaza, and check in at the hotel, post lunch you can visit Ki Monastery which is believed to be built by Dromton (1008 - 64 AD). Kibber Village and Kibber Sanctuary where you can spot Blue Sheep and Ibex. Our last spot will be Komic Village which is the highest village in Asia, located at a height of 18,000 feet above sea level. The beauty of this place cannot be described in words; it can only be felt and experienced with naked eyes. After such spectacular sightseeing come back to kaza for dinner & overnight stay. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8: Kaza – Kunzum Pass – Chandertaal (120km/4-5hrs)

Today morning after breakfast proceed towards Kunzum pass. Kunzum Pass is one of the highest motorable passes across the Kunzum range at an altitude of 4551 m. It serves as the entrance pass to Spiti valley from Lahaul. Goddess Kunjum (Durga/Parvati) resides in a temple on the Kunzum top and keeps guard over the pass and wards of the evil. Reach chandertaal lake by afternoon and  enjoy the mystical scenic view of this lake till evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 09: Chandertaal – Sisu – Jispa

Today morning Drive from Chandratal to Batal (approximately 2-3 hours). Batal is a small settlement and a popular stopover for travelers heading to or coming from Spiti Valley. Have breakfast at a local eatery in Batal. After breakfast Continue your journey from Batal to Jispa (approximately 5-6 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic) by the keylong village along with Chenab River on the way visit Sangam point where chandra and bhaga river meet. Arrive in Jispa and check into your hotel/Camp. Spend some time relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If time permits, take a short stroll around Jispa to appreciate the natural beauty and unwind after the long drive. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or at your hotel.

Day 10: Jispa – Deepak Taal – Suraj Taal – Zing Zing Bar – Leh (340km/8-9hrs)

Post breakfast check out from the Jispa camp & proceed further towards Leh. On the way, pass through, Deepak Taal Baralacha La, Nakeela Pass, Lachung La & Sarchu, Pang, Tanglang La. On arrival, check in at the hotel at Leh.

Day 11: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (160 KM /5-6 Hours)

Post breakfast drives to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, The Highest Motor able road in the World. On the way to Nubra Valley visit Deskit & Hunder Villages and have Double Hump camel Safari in Cold Desert (On your Own). Overnight stay in a camp at Nubra Valley.

Day 12: Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra (331km/8-9hrs)

Post breakfast; proceed towards nearby places like Turtuk & Hunder Village. Enjoy double humped Camel ride (on own expenses). Later return to Nubra Camp for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 13: Nubra – Pangong (275km/7-8hrs)

Post breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. In late afternoon reach Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Witness the changing colors of the Lake at high altitude. Have dinner & overnight stay at the camp in Pangong.

Day 14: Pangong – Leh (230km/5-6hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive towards Kargil. Drive to next village Nimmoo a view of Zanskar River following into Indus. on Srinagar Leh route. At lunchtime, we will be at Larnayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to cross the highest pass (Fotu la 13749 ft.) On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day free for relaxation. Stay overnight at Kargil Camp.

Day 15: Leh sightseeing – Kargil (220km/5-6hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive towards Kargil. On the way visit Magnetic Hill, Meeting point of Zanskar River & Indus River, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Spituk Gompa and Hall of Fame. Drive to next village Nimmoo a view of Zanskar River following into Indus on Srinagar Leh route. At lunchtime, we will be at Larnayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to cross the highest pass (Fotu la 13749 ft.) On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day free for relaxation. Stay overnight at Kargil Camp.

Day 16: Kargil – Sonamarg – Srinagar (202 KM /6-7 Hours)

Today after breakfast proceed towards Srinagar. Continue drive towards Drass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check. Zoji La pass, rod passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs). On arrival at Srinagar check in hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 17: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Post breakfast, check out from the houseboat & visit famous Mughal Gardens like Nishat Garden & Shalimar Garden, Chashme-e-Shahi & Pari Mahal. Later visit Shankracharya Temple & enjoy Shikara Ride on famous Dal Lake (on own expenses). In evening check into the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 18: Srinagar – Gulmarg (52 Km/2 Hours) – Srinagar

Post breakfast, proceed further towards Gulmarg. Enjoy beautiful surroundings and Pony Ride (On own expenses). Have a Gondola Ride (on own expenses). It has two phases; Phase-I is from Gulmarg to Kungdoor & Phase-II is from Kungdoor to Affarwatt. Then visit a small Shiva Temple & Gulmarg Golf course, which is in existence for 100 years. One can also hire a local vehicle or pony (on own expenses) to visit Bota Pathri in Nagin Valley, which is recently opened to tourists. In late afternoon return to Srinagar hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 19: Srinagar – Pahalgam (92 KM/3-4 Hours)

Post breakfast drive to Pahalgam. On the way visit Saffron fields & witnesses the beautiful mountains & green pine forests and drive along the Lidder River. On arrival at Pahalgam, check-in to the Hotel. Enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam, Have a Pony Ride, (on own expenses). Enjoy River Rafting in Lidder River (on own expenses), which is held from April to June month. Later visit Aru Valley, Chandanwari, Betaab Valley (on own expenses, by local cab). In late evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 20: Pahalgam Sightseeing – Jammu (233 KM/5-6 Hours)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & start further journey towards Jammu. On arrival check in hotel dinner & overnight stay.

Day 21: Jammu – Amritsar (215KM/4-5HRS)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & start further journey towards Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar check into the hotel rest & fresh up, later visit Golden temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah border (showcases lowering of flags ceremony held between security forces of India and Pakistan in respect of each other).

Day 22: Amritsar – Dalhousie (200KM/4-5 Hours)

Post breakfast check out from the hotel in Amritsar & drive further towards Dalhousie on arrival, check into the hotel rest & fresh up explore the nearby market places in the evening return to the hotel have dinner & overnight stay.

Day 23: Dalhousie – Khajjiar (25 Km/1 Hour) – Dalhousie

Post breakfast drive to Khajjiar, a place where one can easily spend a whole day near Khajjair Lake. It is part of the Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary & is known as Mini Switzerland.  In the late evening drive back to Dalhousie hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 24: Dalhousie – Dharamshala Sightseeing (120 Km/4-5 Hours)

Post breakfast check out from the hotel & drive toward Dharamshala on arrival chack in the hotel after fresh-up/rest you can visit Dharamshala including Dal Lake, St. John's Church, Tibetan Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala International cricket stadium. the nearby market later that evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 25: Dharamshala – Chandigarh (310 KM/7-8 Hours)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and return back towards Chandigarh. On arrival, you’ll be dropped at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station for further journey.
