Tour Plan
Day 1 : COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 KM/4 Hours)
On arrival at Ernakulum Railway Station and you will be transferred to Munnar. On the way, visits Spice Plantations and Valara/Cheeyappara Falls during a scenic drive of 4 hours. On arrival at Munnar, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day lazing amidst nature’s bounty. Stay overnight & have dinner at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 2 : MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast depart to enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar and visit Mattupetty Dam/Lake, Anamudi Peak, Nursery Garden, Echo Point, Photo Point, Tata Tea Museum and Eravikulam National Park. Stay overnight & have dinner at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3 : MUNNAR – THEKKADY (100 KM/3 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (Periyar). On arrival at Thekkady, check into the hotel. Thekkady is best known for the Periyar National Park that is home to wild elephants and also a thick forest cover that remains hidden even to sunlight. In the afternoon, proceed for boat cruise (on own expenses) at Periyar Lake. You can see animals in their natural habitat roaming around freely. Stay overnight & have dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 : THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY (140 KM/4 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, the land of the gorgeous Kerala back waters. On arrival, check in to houseboat. Spend rest of the day at leisure. On arrival In Alleppey, check into the Houseboat & spend rest of the day enjoying Houseboat facilities.
Note: The AC in the House boat will work only in the night and that too in the bedroom from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am
Day 5 : ALLEPPEY – TRIVANDRUM – KOVALAM (160 KM/5 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the houseboat & drive to Kovalam by road, on the way visit Trivandrum (Famous for Ayurveda) – Visit Padmanabhav Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Museum, Zoo and Veli Village.On arrival at Kovalam check into the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 6 : KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI (90 KM/3 Hours) SIGHTSEEING)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive to Kanyakumari. On the way visit Poovar Backwater, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thirupparapu waterfalls along with the Mathoor Hanging Bridge & the Sunset Point. On arrival at Kanyakumari, check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 7 : KANYAKUMARI SIGHTSEEING – RAMESHWARAM (330 KM/ 6-7 Hours)
Post breakfast explore Kanyakumari & visit Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Memorial Later drive to Rameshwaram via Pamban Bridge. On arrival check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 8 : RAMESHWARAM SIGHTSEEING – THANJAVUR (247 KM/ 4-5 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & visit Rameshwaram Temple & Dhanushkodi. Later proceed toward Thanjavur, on arrival visit the big temple, Brihadeeswara Temple. Later check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 9 : THANJAVUR – MADURAI – KODAIKANAL (292 KM/ 6-7 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Kodaikanal. On the way visit Amman Meenakshi Temple at Madurai. After visit proceed to Kodaikanal. On arrival check in to the hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.
Day 10 : KODAIKANAL – COIMBATORE (172 KM/ 5-6 Hours)
Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing at Kodaikanal. The major attractions are Museum at shenbaganur. Dolmen Circle, Berijam Lake, Pillar Rocks Viewpoint (three granite boulders that are seen standing vertically shoulder to shoulder measuring to a height of about 122 meters). Neptune Falls and Pool (a series of crystal clear rock pools, created by a stream that runs via pine forests).Later drive to Coimbatore, on arrival visit Maha Shiva Adiyogi Statue. Later check in to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 11 : COIMBATORE – OOTY (92 KM/3-4 Hours)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel & later drive to Ooty, on arrival visit Payakara Dam, Water Falls, Speed Boating, Ooty Botanical Garden, and Ooty Lake. Later check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 12 : OOTY – COONOOR – COIMBATORE (90KM/3-4 Hours)
Post breakfast proceed to Coonoor. On arrival in Coonoor, visit Sim's park, Lamb's rock, Dolphin nose, Tea factory and tea gardens and Doddabetta. Later drive to Coimbatore, on arrival check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 13 : COIMBATORE DEPARTURE)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel & you’ll be dropped at Coimbatore Railway Station for further journey.
