Tour Plan
BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAILWAY STATION – KALIMPONG (78 KM/3 Hours)
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station, our cab will pick you up & you’ll start the journey towards Kalimpong. On arrival in Kalimpong, check into the Hotel. After rest & freshen up visit market nearby. Have dinner & overnight stay in the hotel.
KALIMPONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING – GANGTOK (77 km / 3 Hours)
After Breakfast half day tour of Kalimpong Starts 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Flowers Nurseries. In the afternoon get transferred to Gangtok 5,480 feet, Capital of Sikkim. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet) & Baba Mandir (13,200 feet) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city. The lake is highly revered by the local Buddhists and Hindus as a sacred lake. Further Nathula Pass is located at the Indo China border at an altitude of 14,100 feet is a favourite hotspot place of visit for visitors coming to Sikkim. It was the place through which the famous Silk Route used to operate until 1962. This used to be the silk trade route between India and Tibet. In evening return to Gangtok hotel for dinner & overnight stay. Note: In case of landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Also, tourists are given special permit to visit Nathula Pass, 4 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday) and the numbers of vehicle are restricted to visit Nathula each day. Availability of permit will be given on the spot on extra charges.
GANGTOK – LACHEN 125 KM / 6 Hours
Post breakfast move further towards Lachen 9,285 feet. On the way visit Singhik, Dikchu Dam, Butterfly Falls/Seven Sister Water Falls, Chungthang Confluence, and reach Lachen by evening. Have dinner & overnight stay in Lachen hotel.
LACHEN - CHOPTA VALLEY – GURUDONGMAR LAKE – LACHUNG
Today early morning proceed to visit Chopta Valley at 13,225 feet & Gurudongmar Lake at 17,175 feet. Back to hotel and in afternoon get transferred to Lachung 8,175 feet. Reach Lachung by evening. Have dinner & overnight stay at Lachung hotel.
LACHUNG – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION
After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley Known as Valley of Flowers at 11,910 feet. On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
LACHUNG - GANGTOK 125 KM / 5 Hours
After breakfast check out from hotel & start further towards Gangtok. On the way witness the wonderful Bheema & Twin waterfalls. On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING - PELLING (117 KM/5 Hours)
This morning Starts 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM for a half day trip of Gangtok city covering Banjhakri Falls/Bakthang Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre Sunday Closed, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten & Institute of Tibetology Sunday Closed. In afternoon get transferred to Pelling. On arrival, check in to hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
PELLING SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast start for full day visiting Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls & Khecheopalri Lake. After lunch, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Palace Ruins and Bird Sanctuary. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
PELLING – DARJEELING 117 KM/5 Hours
This morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling at 6,710 feet. Enjoy scenic beauty of Rangeet River Valley on the way. On arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning (at 0400 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
DARJEELING – BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAILWAY STATION (68 KM/3 Hours)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your return journey.

My parents just finished leh ladakh tour through Best Escape Holidays company...They had an wonderful experience there.... I recently went on a trip to Manali with a Best Escape Holidays, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with their services.
