Tour Plan
LEH (ALT: 11500 FEET/ 3505 METER) – ACCLIMATIZATION / ORIENTATION
Get transferred to hotel with assistance. Take rest for acclimatization to the high altitude. In the afternoon explore Leh market & return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast visit Magnetic Hill, Meeting point of Zanskar River & Indus River and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Spituk Gompa and Hall of Fame during your return to Leh town. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
LEH – NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDONG LA PASS/125 KM
Post breakfast drives to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, The Highest Motorable road in the World. On the way to Nubra Valley visit Deskit & Hunder Villages and have Double Hump camel Safari in Cold Desert (On your Own). Overnight stay in a camp at Nubra Valley.
NUBRA VALLEY – DESKIT – KHARDUNGLA PASS – LEH
Visit Deskit Monastery after breakfast and return towards Leh by crossing Khardungla Pass again. On arrival, check-in at the hotel again in Leh for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH – PANGONG LAKE / 4080 METER /155 km
Post breakfast drive towards Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 4250 M. You have to cross the Changla Pass which is at 5360 feet & is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Witness the changing colors of the Lake at high altitude. Dinner & overnight stay in camp at Pangong.
PANGONG – SHEY – THIKSEY – LEH
Post breakfast check out from camp & return to Leh & on the way visit Shey Palace & Thiksey Monastery. On arrival, check-in at the hotel again in Leh for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH DEPARTURE TRANSFER
Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & you’ll be dropped at Leh Airport for further journey.

My parents just finished leh ladakh tour through Best Escape Holidays company...They had an wonderful experience there....
