Exact dates of opening of this route mostly depends on road condition at Kunzum La pass. You will see lush green terrains, Rocky Mountains, beautiful lakes, golden deserts, centuries old monasteries when going through this charismatic tour.
Lahaul Spiti Valley is located in the magnificent and beautiful District of Himachal Pradesh. You can enjoy the scenic landscape of river valleys, snow capped peaks, high passes, icy lakes, and have a look at the glaciers. Tour Plan
DAY 1: CHANDIGARH – SHIMLA
On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station, our cab will pick you up & you’ll start the journey towards Shimla. On reaching Shimla check into the hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2: SHIMLA – NARKANDA – RAMPUR – SARAHAN
After breakfast leave for Sarahan via Rampur. On reaching in Rampur visit the exquisite palace of erstwhile Maharajah of Rampur Bushair, explore the town and then leave for the beautiful village of sarahan, perched High above the river Sutlej, sarahan is steeped in legend, hill architecture and the remarkable natural beauty, orchards and small villages. Stay overnight at Sarahan.
DAY 3: SARAHAN – SANGLA
After breakfast visit to Bhimakali Temple, it is revered as one of the fifty one Shaktipeeth. After visit to Temple leave for the beautiful Valley of Sangla. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are Picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa Valley since Baspa River flows through this valley. Overnight stay at Sangla.
DAY 4: SANGLA – CHHITKUL – KALPA
Today morning, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Chitkul, last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards and brilliant stream. Then move further towards Kalpa – The District Headquarter of Kinnar. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden & the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79 foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes its colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Arrive in Kalpa, and go on a local sightseeing tour of the village, you can also visit the nearest town of Rekong Peo for shopping. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5: KALPA – JIBHI
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed back towards Jibhi. On the way visit Jalodi Pass. On arrival at Jibhi, check into the hotel. In evening, visit markets nearby. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 6: JIBHI – MANDI
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed towards Mandi. On arrival at Mandi, check into the hotel. Mandi is also called ‘The Choti Kashi’. Here you can see temples built from the age of Mahabharata. Visit temples & return to hotel in evening for dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 7: MANDI – CHANDIGARH
Today morning after breakfast leave for Chandigarh. Drop at Railway station or Airport. Journey ends here.
