Tour Plan
LEH (ALT: 11500 / 3505 M) – ACCLIMATIZATION / ORIENTATION
Reach Leh by morning flight & get transferred to hotel. After freshens up take rest for acclimatization to the high altitude. Later in the afternoon explore Leh market & return to hotel at night for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast visit Magnetic Hill, Meeting point of Zanskar River & Indus River and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Spituk Gompa and Hall of Fame during your return to Leh town. Have dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
LEH – KHARDUNGLA PASS – NUBRA VALLEY
Today after breakfast, you would be driven Nubra Valley, covering Khardung-La on the way, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. The views from the top of the pass are amazing and feel like being on the top of the world. On arrival at Nubra Valley, check into the camp for dinner & overnight stay.
NUBRA VALLEY
Post breakfast, proceed towards nearby places like Panamic & Hunder Village. Enjoy double humped Camel ride (on own expenses). Later return to Nubra Camp for dinner & overnight stay.
NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE / 4080 M
Post breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. In late afternoon reach Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Witness the changing colors of the Lake at high altitude. Have dinner & overnight stay at the camp in Pangong.
PANGONG LAKE
Have a lazy morning after so much of travel. Have breakfast & explore the nearby area of Pangong Lake. Have some photography. Spend day at leisure in Pangong. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
PANGONG – SHEY – THIKSEY – LEH
Post breakfast check out from camp & return to Leh & on the way visit Shey Palace & Thiksey Monastery. On arrival, check-in at the hotel again in Leh for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH DEPARTURE TRANSFER
Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel & you’ll be dropped at Leh Airport for further journey.
