Exact dates of opening of this route mostly depends on road condition at Kunzum La pass. Lahaul Spiti Valley is located in the magnificent and beautiful District of Himachal Pradesh. Tour Plan
DAY 01: MANALI ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING
Reach Manali in morning & get transferred to hotel (Check in & check out Time as per Hotel Policies & early Check In is subject to availability). After rest & freshens up till 02:00 PM go for half day city tour of Manali which includes – Visit Hadimba Devi Temple (This temple constructed in 1553 A. D. is Dedicated to Mata Hadimba, Himachal’s Most Significant Deity), Vashisht Village & Hot water springs (Dedicated to Vashisht Muni & well known for its hot Curable water) and Tibetan Monastery in Market. In evening explore the Mall Road & IBEX Market of Manali. Stay overnight after dinner in reserved hotel.
DAY 02: MANALI – KAZA
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed further towards Kaza. On the way take halts at Rohtang Pass, Batal & Chhatru. On arrival, check into the hotel. Have dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 03: KAZA SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast leave for Kaza Sightseeing by visiting Ki Monastery & Gete Village (Highest Motorable Connected Road in World) & Chicham Bridge, Kibber Village for the ancient monastery built on what is believed to have been a crater of an extinct Volcano & visit Hikkim, a small village in Spiti, is known for housing the world's highest post office and Komic Village, Komic Known to be the highest village in the world. Later visit Langza Village; Langza is famous due to huge Buddha Statue at 14300 ft height facing the mountains overlooking the valley. Langza is most visited because of huge golden Buddha Statue facing the mountains overlooking the valley. Later return to Kaza, explore the local market of Kaza and have dinner & overnight stay at Kaza.
DAY 04: KAZA – DHANKAR – TABO
Travel from Kaza to Tabo, Often referred to as the ‘Ajanta of the Himalayas’, the Tabo Chos-Khor Monastery was founded more than a thousand years ago in 996 A.D. Untouched by the trials and tribulations of humanity, it has preserved its glorious heritage, traditions and culture of Buddhism through the centuries. Standing serenely in the cold and rocky Tabo Valley, this ancient monastery shows amazing architectural integrity and spiritual richness. On the way visit Dhankar Monastrey. Have dinner & overnight stay at Tabo hotel.
DAY 05: TABO TO PIN VALLEY/MUD VILLAGE VIA KUNGRI
Travel from Tabo to Pin Valley via a diversion at Attargoo bridge on the Tabo-Kaza road. There are few important monasteries in Pin Valley including the Kungri monastery which is around 10 km from Attargo and 3 km from Gulling. Mud village is the last village connected by motorable road in Spiti Valley though the road continues towards Bhaba pass ahead of it. Over the years Mud village has become the base for tourist, travelers and backpackers. The major reason being Mud village also acts as the base for trekking route towards or from Pin-Parvati Pass or Bhabha Valley. Overnight at Mud village.
DAY 06: MUD – CHANDERTAAL
Travel back from Mud to Chandertaal. Cross again Kunzum Pass. On arrival, check into the camp. Visit the beautiful lake & have dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 07: CHANDERTAAL – SISSU
After breakfast check out from the camp and move towards Sissu. Reach Sissu & enjoy beautiful surrounding. Spend some time near Sissu Lake & trek to waterfall. Have dinner & night stay at Sissu.
DAY 08: SISSU – MANALI DROP
Post breakfast check out from the hotel & move further towards Manali. Pass through Atal Tunnel & visit Solang Valley on the way. On arrival in Manali, you'll be dropped at Volvo Stand for further journey
