On arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station, our cab will pick you up & you’ll start the journey towards Darjeeling. On arrival in Darjeeling, check into the Hotel. After rest & freshen up visit market nearby. Have dinner & overnight stay in the hotel.
Early Morning (at 0400 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
After relishing your breakfast at the hotel, begin your road journey to Kalimpong. On arrival, check into the hotel. Situated at the height of 4101 feet, Kalimpong at the foothills of the Himalayas is a beautiful hill town in the state of West Bengal. This place is home to a number of Buddhist monasteries. Enjoy taking a stroll so that you can admire the beauty of your surroundings. Spend the evening in doing leisure activities. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kalimpong.
After having your breakfast in your hotel, you will proceed for taking a tour of Kalimpong. The popular attractions that you are going to cover are Pine View Nurseries, Forest Museum, Mangaldham, Dr Graham Homes School, Deolo Hill, Science City and Durpin Monastery. Have night stay in Kalimpong hotel.
Post breakfast leave for Pelling, which houses the well-known Pemyangtse monastery. This is a beautiful hill town in the western region of Sikkim. The day is fixed for doing leisure activities. You can relax in your room; can take a walk to have a look at your surroundings and the nearby attractions. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast start for full day visiting Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls & Khecheopalri Lake. After lunch, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Palace Ruins and Bird Sanctuary. Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, begin your road journey to Gangtok. On arrival in Gangtok, check-in to the hotel. Later proceed for half day city sightseeing including Chorten (Stupa), Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Flower Show, Research Institute of Tibetology, View Point, Rumtek Monastery and Botanical Garden. In evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet) & Baba Mandir (13,200 feet) which is 55 km one way from Gangtok city. The lake is highly revered by the local Buddhists and Hindus as a sacred lake. Further Nathula Pass is located at the Indo China border at an altitude of 14,100 feet is a favourite hotspot place of visit for visitors coming to Sikkim. It was the place through which the famous Silk Route used to operate until 1962. This used to be the silk trade route between India and Tibet. In evening return to Gangtok hotel for dinner & overnight stay. Note: In case of landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Also, tourists are given special permit to visit Nathula Pass, 4 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday) and the numbers of vehicle are restricted to visit Nathula each day. Availability of permit will be given on the spot on extra charges.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your return journey.
