Shimla Kinnaur Lahaul Spiti Tour via Kalpa Nako Tabo Kaza Kunzum la pass to Manali Package. This trip is possible from June to October only. Exact dates of opening of this route mostly depends on road condition at Kunzum La pass. You will see lush green terrains, Rocky Mountains, beautiful lakes, golden deserts, centuries old monasteries when going through this charismatic tour.
Lahaul Spiti Valley is located in the magnificent and beautiful District of Himachal Pradesh. You can enjoy the scenic landscape of river valleys, snow capped peaks, high passes, icy lakes, and have a look at the glaciers. The place is full of temples and you might come across priests, monasteries, lamas, and yaks. Offbeat Tourist Places are included in Shimla, Sangla, Kalpa, Chandrataal Lake, Keylong, Triloknath, Udeypur Tabo, Dhankar, Kaza, and Pin Valley and others. This is an adventure centric inbound itinerary for guests looking to visit Lahaul Spiti Valley areas from Manali.
Kaza is a desert like region and one of the most remote area. The itinerary includes some exciting Himalayan drives, visiting ancient monasteries and exploring adventure options around Manali. Tour Plan
DAY 01: SHIMLA - RAMPUR - SARAHAN
From Shimla proceed to Sarahan via Rampur, visit the exquisite palace of erstwhile Maharajah of Rampur Bushair, explore the town and then leave for the beautiful village of Sarahan, perched High above the river Sutlej, Sarahan is steeped in legend, hill architecture and the remarkable natural beauty, orchards and small villages. Stay overnight at Sarahan.
DAY 02: SARAHAN - SANGLA - CHHITKUL
After breakfast visit to Bhimakali Temple, it is revered as one of the fifty one Shaktipeeth. After visit to Temple leave for the beautiful Valley of Sangla. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are Picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa Valley since Baspa River flows through this valley. Overnight stay at Sangla.
DAY 03: CHHITKUL - RECKONGPEO - KALPA
Leaving Chitkul drive back to the confluence of Satluj and Vaspa rivers at Rakcham and along the Satluj river to Recongpeo and continue up to Kalpa village, which is a beautiful village overlooking at Kinnaur Kailash, after exploring stav at Kalpa.
DAY 04: KALPA - NAKO - TABO
Leaving Nako and entering in Spiti landscape changes from rocky mountain to deserted mountains.
DAY 05: TABO - PIN VALLEY - KAZA
Today after breakfast drive further towards Kaza. On the way visit Mud Village in Pin Valley, which is also a starting point of Pin Valley National Park trek. In afternoon proceed for Kaza. On arrival check into the hotel & visit market area in evening. Stay at Kaza.
DAY 06: KAZA SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast visit Kee monastery, Kibber village, Tashi Gang village, the 2nd highest village in world. In afternoon visit Langza, Hikkim, Komic villages & Chicham bridge. Stay at Kaza.
DAY 07: KAZA - CHANDRA TAL
Leaving Kaza, drive to Kunzum la pass passing through the beautiful hamlets of Rangrik, Hal, Pangmo, Kiato and Hanse youll arrive at Losar the last village in the valley. After Losar road climbs up to Kunzum la pass (4551m), which connects Lahoul with Spiti. The panorama as viewed from the top of the pass is enthralling and inspiring. 8 km. One can make trek to Chandratal if not drive to Chandratal. Walking gradually downwards to the lake of moon-Chandertal lake. A vast meadows around the lake carpeted with alpine flowers, is an ideal place for camping. A magnificent view of Samudra tapu glacier and Moulkila range is obtainable from here.
DAY 08: CHANDRA TAL - CHHATRU - MANALI
Now driving along the Chandra pass Chota dara and Chatru and finally crossing Atal Tunnel, brings you to Manali.
DAY 09: MANALI DROP
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & you’ll be dropped at ISBT Manali.
