Tour Plan
Day 01: JAMMU – KATRA (46 KM/1-2 Hours)
On arrival at Jammu Railway Station/Airport, meet our representative & start journey towards Katra. On arrival, check into the hotel. Then get assisted to take Yarta Parchi from Shrine Board Counter. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 02: KATRA – VAISHNODEVI (13 KM) – KATRA
Early morning, proceed to Vaishno Devi Shrine (Approximately 13 km Trek). One can trek up to the Shrine if fitness permits, otherwise hire a pony on own expenses. You can also opt for a helicopter ride till Sanjha Chulha. Helicopter tickets for Vaishno Devi can be availed from Best Escape Holidays also. Arrive at Vaishnodevi Bhawan. After Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan, return to Katra hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 03: KATRA – SRINAGAR (245 KM/8-9 Hours) HOUSEBOAT STAY
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & start journey towards Srinagar. On arrival, check into the Houseboat for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 04: SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING & SHIKARA RIDE
Post breakfast, check out from the houseboat & enjoy Shikara Ride on famous Dal Lake. Then visit famous Mughal Gardens like Nishat Garden & Shalimar Garden, Chashme-e-Shahi, Pari Mahal & Shankracharya Temple. In evening check into the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 05: SRINAGAR – GULMARG (52 KM/2 Hours) – SRINAGAR
Post breakfast, proceed further towards Gulmarg. Enjoy beautiful surroundings and Pony Ride (On own expenses). Have a Gondola Ride (on own expenses). It has two phases; Phase-I is from Gulmarg to Kungdoor & Phase-II is from Kungdoor to Affarwatt. Then visit a small Shiva Temple & Gulmarg Golf course, which is in existence for 100 years. One can also hire a local vehicle or pony (on own expenses) to visit Bota Pathri in Nagin Valley, which is recently opened to tourists. In late afternoon return to Srinagar hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 06 : SRINAGAR – SONAMARG (80 KM/3-4 Hours) – SRINAGAR
Post breakfast proceed towards Sonamarg also known as “The Meadow of Gold”. Take a pony ride out here (On own expenses) and enjoy the white mountains covered with snow and the river Sindh flowing through the valley. One can also hire a local vehicle or pony (on own expenses) to visit Thajiwas glacier. In late afternoon return to Srinagar hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 07: SRINAGAR – YOUSMARG (50 KM/2 Hours) – SRINAGAR
Post breakfast, proceed towards Yusmarg. On the way visit Charar-E-Sharif, an ancient wooden shrine; approximately 600 years old, counted as one of the most sacred Muslim shrines in India. Then proceed further towards Yusmarg. Trek towards Nilnag Lake, which is at 4 km distance from Yusmarg (one can also hire a pony on own expenses). Then return to Yusmarg and spend the evening amidst its calmness and tranquil beauty. Later drive back towards Srinagar for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 08: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM (92 KM/3-4 Hours)
Post breakfast drive to Pahalgam. On the way visit Saffron fields & witnesses the beautiful mountains & green pine forests and drive along the Lidder River. On arrival at Pahalgam, check-in to the Hotel. Enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam, Have a Pony Ride, (on own expenses). Enjoy River Rafting in Lidder River (on own expenses), which is held from April to June month. In late evening return to hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 09: PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast, visit Aru Valley, Chandan wari, Betaab Valley, Posh Van & Deer Park (on own expenses by local union cab). Spend evening at leisure exploring the beautiful Valley. Have dinner & stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 10 : PAHALGAM – JAMMU (235 KM/6-7 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed further towards Jammu. On arrival, you’ll be dropped at Airport/Railway Station for further journey.

My parents just finished leh ladakh tour through Best Escape Holidays company...They had an wonderful experience there....
