Tour Plan
MANALI ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING
Reach Manali in morning & get transferred to hotel (Check in & check out Time as per Hotel Policies & early Check In is subject to availability). After rest & freshens up till 02:00 PM go for half day city tour of Manali which includes - Visit Hadimba Devi Temple (This temple constructed in 1553 A. D. is Dedicated to Mata Hadimba, Himachal’s Most Significant Deity), Vashisht Village & Hot water springs (Dedicated to Vashisht Muni & well known for its hot Curable water) and Tibetan Monastery in Market. In evening explore the Mall Road & IBEX Market of Manali. Stay overnight after dinner in reserved hotel.
MANALI – SOLANG VALLEY – SISSU – JISPA (93 KM /3-4 Hours)
Post breakfast, start journey towards Jispa. On the way visit Solang Valley, where you can enjoy various thrilling adventure activities like Paragliding, Ropeway Ride, Zorbing, Horse Riding at own cost. Then proceed further via Rohtang pass & Lahoul Valley. Reach Jispa & check into the Hotel. In evening, you’ll be free for rest and independent activities. Stay overnight at hotel or camp booked.
JISPA – PADUM
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive further towards Padum via Shinkula Top, Padum the capital of the ancient kingdom of Zanskar. Upon arrival in Padum we check in at our Camp / Hotel / Guest House for Overnight stay.
PADUM SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast leave for Full day Sightseeing of Karsha & Bardan. The Karsha Monastery of Ladakh is situated in the Karsha village of the Zanskar region. Built picturesquely along the steeply rising mountainside above Karsha village, the monastery can be seen from far. After visiting Karsha we precede further towards Bardan Gompa is a 17th century Buddhist monastery. Bardan Monastery of Ladakh. We drive further towards Zangla, Lying deep in the northern arm of Zanskar at the end of the 35 km. Long rough road from Padum, Zangla was being ruled by a titular king till his death a few years back. On the way Visit monastery of Stongdey. After visiting above monasteries we drive back to our Camp. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Camp / Guest House / Hotel.
PADUM – RANGDUM
Post breakfast, we drive towards Rangdum. Rangdum Village is an elliptical expanded plateau that is situated midway between Kargil and Padum. Located 130 km south-east of Kargil, in the beautiful Suru Valley in Leh District, Rangdum is surrounded by steep hills, pastures, streams and rocky mountains. This isolated place is known for an old monastery, which is one of the most revered Buddhist places in Leh-Ladakh. Upon arrival at Rangdum we check in at our Camp / Hotel / Guest House for Overnight stay. Rest of the day free for relaxation.
RANGDUM – KARGIL (130 KM /3-4 Hours)
After breakfast, check out from the Camp / Hotel & drive towards Kargil. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day free for relaxation. Stay overnight at Kargil.
KARGIL – LAMAYURU (105 KM /2-3 Hours)
Post breakfast check out from camp & drive to Lamayuru. Lamayuru is known for its monastery, and for its “lunar” landscape – quaintly promoted as a “Moonscape” for tourists. The landscape is certainly incredible with its spectacularly odd geological formations, though this is not unique to Lamayuru. Lamayuru monastery is ancient, built into the 'moonscape'. On arrival, check-in at the hotel in Lamayuru for dinner & overnight stay.
LAMAYURU – LEH
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive towards Leh. On the way visit Meeting point of Zanskar River & Indus River and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. On arrival, check into the hotel for Dinner and Overnight Stay.
LEH SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast visit Magnetic Hill, Visit Spituk Gompa and Hall of Fame, Shey Palace & Thiksey Monastery. Return to Hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
LEH – NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDONG LA PASS (160 KM /5-6 Hours)
Post breakfast drives to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, The Highest Motor able road in the World. On the way to Nubra Valley visit Deskit & Hunder Villages and have Double Hump camel Safari in Cold Desert (On your Own). Overnight stay in a camp.
NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE (275 KM /7-8 Hours)
Post breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake is situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. In late afternoon reach Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Witness the changing colours of the Lake at high altitude. Have dinner & overnight stay at the camp in Pangong.
PANGONG – HANLE (310 KM /8-9 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the camp & drive towards Hanle. On arrival, check into the guesthouse. Later Visit Spend Evening at your leisure. Stay overnight & Dinner.
HANLE – TSOMORIRI (160 KM /5-6 Hours)
After breakfast, Today we’ll be visiting Hanle Observatory, Hanle Monastery. Later drive to Tsomoriri. On Arrival, check into the Camp / Guest House at Karzok / Tso moriri. Have dinner & overnight stay.
TSOMORIRI – SARCHU (230 KM /6-7 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & Visit Tso Moriri & Karzok Monastery. Later proceed towards Sarchu. On arrival in evening, check into the camp & have dinner & overnight stay.
SARCHU – JISPA – MANALI (178 KM /5-6 Hours)
Post breakfast, check out from the camp & proceed further towards Manali. On the way take a halt at Jispa. On arrival in Manali, you’ll be dropped at Manali Volvo Stand for further journey.
